This site is a really great way to keep up with all the blogs you follow. I just started this site today but hopefully I can see how I really like it within the next couple of days. Maybe I will end up blogging more since I sorta forget about it.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation {My Review}

I have been using my Rimmel London Stay Matte foundation for about a week now and I love it. It's simple and easy to use. I love it and I can't wait to buy more when it hits store shelves in January 2014. Want to know how I wear it on my basic days of just going to work?
The first picture is the picture of me before putting any of the Stay Matte foundation on. I have some red spots on my face that I like to cover up. In the second picture shows how much I use each time I use it. Just a small little amount. Then I just put small dots around my face where I wanted to put it.
The last step is blending it around my face evenly. After it's on I just applied some eye liner and I was set for work. I love how this makes my face looks and how smooth it looks.
This Stay Matte foundation doesn't make your face feel oily or thick. It feels like I don't have anything on my face at all and it lasts all day. I definitely recommend this product, I love it.

Rimmel London {#StayMatte}

I love whenever I get an email saying that I qualified for a voxbox from Influenster! I was pretty excited when I got the email for this product. This product hasn't even hit store shelves yet and I can already tell you now that I am planning on purchasing it.
This box included a foundation from Rimmel London. It's the Stay Matte foundation, mine is in the color "ivory". It's the perfect shade for my skin tone!
I wore this today for the first time and I can already tell I'm going to be using it a lot! I love how it applied and how it made my face feel. It didm't feel like I had anything on my face and it took all the redness and dark spots off my face. My face looked so smooth.
It's now toward the end of the day and it looks like it did when I first applied it. This foundation is for sure one of the best. I'm not quite sure how much it's going to cost when it does hit stores but hopefully its a decent price.
The packaging it comes in is cute also. The tube isn't some flimsy tube it's quite sturdy. This is probably going to become quite the regular in my makeup collection. To the right is a picture of me today with this foundation on. It makes my face look smooth and even.

Olay Fresh Effects {Bead Me Up}

It's hard for me to find a face wash that I actually like and will continue using. My face is very sensitive so it's hard to figure out what products to try without it turning my face fire truck red. My mom had a coupon for an Olay Fresh Effect product and I decided why not give it a try.
I purchased this at Walmart for a dollar off with my coupon. I think it was around 6 dollars originally. I decided to go with the beaded kind instead of the original.
I used this for the first time today in the shower and it was awesome. You can't even feel the tiny beads that are in it. This stuff smells good too so thats always a plus. I applied it to my face and my neck and then rinsed it off. It left my face feeling fresh and clean.
After using these products my face will feel a tingling feeling or my face will feel cold. This product made my face just feel refreshed and none of those other feelings. It also didn't burn either. I would suggest this product if you have sensitive skin! It also doesn't leave your face all oily and gross.
The packaging is super cute too. I love the color combo. It also wasn't a terrible price either. My face feels super soft now after using this. I'm not sure how it works with removing makeup since I didn't think that was its purpose.

Lifeway Kefir

A couple of weeks ago Influenster sent me an email saying they were sending me an offer via snail mail for a free product to review. When I got it in the mail it was for this brand called Lifeway Kefir. This is a probiotic drink that is lactose free which I was pretty excited to try since most dairy products make my stomach hurt.
Finding this product in my local grocery stores was difficult. My Walmart only carries the smoothie bottles in only 2 different flavors. Influenster sent us an email saying where we could pick these up and they told me Safeway. My Safeway had none so I went to a different grocery store and was able to find the frozen kefir and the strawberries 'n cream smoothie.
I tested these two that night and surprisingly they weren't bad. The smoothie does have a tart taste but it's nothing that I would say eww to. The frozen kefir is just like frozen yogurt and tastes good. My boyfriend even likes both of these and I always catch him drinking them straight out of the fridge.
Lifeway Kefir does have different flavors of these that I would like to try in the future if I can ever get my hands on them. They are also very healthy for you with the probiotics that are in them. I even googled some of them to see what they do and they really help your stomach and are healthy for women who are nursing. It seems to be really healthy. Another pro about this product is it's not terribly expensive.

Nivea Lip Butter

So this spring I found a new favorite lip product. It's the Nivea Lip Butter. It comes in two different scents, the other is Vanilla Macadamia which may I add smells just like cupcakes!
I purchased the Raspberry Rose Kiss one at Walmart and had a heck of a time trying to find the vanilla one. I actually ended up finding that one at the place where I work.
These make your lips feel so refreshed and moist. I love using mine when my lips feel really dry. They also dont make your lips sticky feeling. The only con that I have with this product is the way it's applied. I hate applying it with my finger, I wish there was a way to apply it without having to touch it. I also wish they had different scents beside these two.
The price for these aren't too bad either. I wouldn't recommend this product if your lips are already chapped. It wont heal your chapped lips but it helps keep your lips moist during those hot days. I try to carry mine with me wherever I go.

Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles

A couple weeks ago I got these Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles from BzzAgent.com. Before I get into the review of these I'm going to explain my current situation with my legs/feet.
A couple years ago back when I was still in high school (maybe even before high school) I realized that I suffered from shin splints. I didn't have to be doing anything and every day I would get them. I played sports a lot in high school so I tried everything to make the shin splints stay away while I played. I tried wraps around them and all sorts of different insoles. I no longer play sports anymore but I do work a job where I have to stand all day in these terrible shoes.
When I got these in the mail I quickly cut them to fit my shoe size and placed them into my work shoes. I ended up wearing them to work that day. They definitely made my shoes feel more comfortable. Although these insoles don't completely keep my shin splints away they help quite a bit. I like the comfort that they give me and it doesn't feel like all the pressure is on my feet.
I don't think any product/insole is ever going to remove my problem of shin splints but these do help. I wouldn't mind purchasing another pair of these for my everyday shoes so that I can get comfort all the time and not just when I'm working.

Colgate Optic White

I received Colgate Optic White in my Influenster and I have used this for a couple of months before. I have however never used the toothbrush from this line.
This stuff leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean. I love the minty flavor because it's not too strong. This stuff makes your teeth white in just a matter of 5 days of consistent use.
The prices of this product is fairly cheap starting out at $2.99 for each product. Most whitening toothpastes and mouthwash that I have used in the past taste strong and hurt my teeth but Colgate Optic White doesn't. There was only one time when it did hurt a tooth but later found out I had a cavity.
Once I run out of this product I will probably repurchase it since for one it's cheap and secondly it actually works.

Influenster Sugar n' Spice Voxbox

Remember the site www.influenster.com? Well I received another voxbox from them! I was really excited to get this one because I read that they gave their boxes a makeover. So when mine came in the mail this is what it looked like, I really like the change. This voxbox that I received was the Sugar n' Spice Voxbox.
When I opened the box it was full of neat things which I will explain further into this post so make sure to keep reading. When I got my voxbox I couldn't open it right away because I got it from my mail man right as I was leaving for work. So I had to wait until after work to open it.
When I opened it this is what was inside. It had a lot of awesome goodies inside that I couldn't wait to try out. The first thing that I pulled out of the box was Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Total Moisture which is $7.99 for a 6.5 ounce can. This was the product that I was looking forward to using. I sprayed some on right away and I love the smell of it. I am not a big lotion fan because I don't like the greasy feeling it leaves on your hands or legs, but this stuff doesn't do that. You just spray it right on and it makes your skin feel really moist. Did I mention I love the smell of this stuff?
The next product I got was Nectresse which is $6.99 for a 5.9 ounce container, or $3.99 for box of 40 packets. I received the box of 40 packets. This stuff is all natural and made from monk fruit. I don't drink coffee or really anything that requires a sweetener but it comes with an ingredient book that I can maybe make something to use it with since I'm interested in trying it. It also has zero calories per serving. If you would like to know what type of ingredients are in the booklet just let me know and I can create a post with them.
The next product is Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes for $5.99 for a 20 count box which is what I received. I am a bit hesitant to try this product because face cleansers really make my face turn bright red. This product says its for sensitive faces though so I will probably give it a try. They are individually wrapped also so that makes it easier for traveling. Not sure if they smell strong yet because I haven't used this product yet.
This next product I have received is one I have used in the past which I do enjoy using and keep purchasing even after it's empty. It's Colgate Optic White Regimen toothbrush, mouthwash, and toothpaste. I have used the toothpaste and the mouthwash before but never the toothbrush. Each individual item is $2.99 each. This toothpaste and mouthwash aren't strong either and doesn't hurt your teeth unless you have a sensitive tooth.
The last product I received is belVita Breakfast Biscuits which are $3.69 for a box of 5 packets of 4 biscuits. The flavor I got is cinnamon brown sugar. This is supposed to give you energy to last all morning. It has a good source of fiber and b-vitamins. I am trying one while I type this post and they are actually really good. They taste like a graham cracker to me, which I love! Fast and easy breakfast that tastes great.

Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge

I received three full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and a one minute recharge from BzzAgent.com. This is my first product through them and I just tried it today. I instantly loved it and it smells great. It has a nice fruity scent to it.
I first shampooed my hair with the shampoo and it has small bead like feeling to it. Then I rinsed it out and used the 1-minute recharge. The 1-minute recharge made my hair feel so soft and healthy. Then I rinsed that out and put in the conditioner which made it feel softer.
When I got out of the shower I towel dried my hair then sort of brushed through it and there were no tangles like there normally is. My hair already feels healthier than it normally does. I love how it leaves my hair smelling also. I think I will be back to the store to repurchase this once it runs out.
After a week of using this I will update you on my review on if I'm still liking it as much as today.

Goody QuikStyle

I got this brush complimentary from Influenster in my Holiday Voxbox. You can purchase these brushes for around $12.99.
I used this brush for the first time yesterday after I took a shower. I first off started using this brush but had a problem with tangles so I used my normal brush first to get everything untangled. Then I used this brush and I love how it made my hair feel. It took most of the water out of my hair but it didn't completely dry it but I wasn't expecting it to.

This left my hair feeling smooth and it dried differently then it normally does. I also like how it dried my hair enough that it didn't make the back of my shirts wet.
As you can tell from the picture my hair was still wet. This comb does save drying time though. I got the rounded one in my voxbox but may look into purchasing the paddle brush since it covers a larger area with my longer hair.

Kiss Nails

I received these in my Holiday Voxbox from Influenster and I love them. I was a little hesitant to put them on right when I got them though because I had to throw freight at my work the next day, but I was wanting to put them on. So I did, which applying them was easy and you get a lot left over too. I thought they turned out pretty good on my nails, I like things like this because I have short nails and can't really do cool designs on them.

So I went to work the next day and this is what really surprised me... they actually stayed on while I was opening boxes with my nails. I was really surprised. The only problem I had is when I got home that night and took a shower, one of my nails was on the floor but I stuck it back on and it hasn't fallen off yet.
Kiss Nails have some really cool designs too, something I will probably purchase in the future. Plus I want to try some other designs with cutting the stencils.  I have gotten a lot of compliments on my nails so far, people wondering where to get them. I recommend these because they are cute and so easy to put on.

Sole Society

One of the things that came in my Holiday Voxbox from Influenster was a card with $25 off your first order at www.solesociety.com. I took a look at their site and sorta just browsed around. It's mainly heels, which I don't really wear because they give me terrible shin splints.
What did catch my eye was the flats. I fell in love with a couple pairs of them. I wish I could order them but right now I just can't afford to buy a new pair of shoes. I had to be reasonable because how often do I really wear dress up shoes? Hardly ever, I only borrow flats and shoes like that from my sister when the occasion arises.
The flats I fell in love with is the silver sparkly kind and of course the cheetah print ones. Sort of like how I want the sparkly Uggs!

Influenster Holiday Voxbox 2012

I finally received my Influenster Holiday Voxbox! I had gotten an email saying I was going to get one and I patiently waited until it finally got here! These are the products that I got inside for free!
First is the Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal+ which is $1.79 per cup. I haven't tried this yet but I probably will try it right in the morning before I go to work tomorrow. I got mine in the flavor of Apple Walnut, so I'm hoping it tastes good!
Next was the NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine which is $2.49. I got it in the color Nude York City(582) which doesn't really leave a color on your lips which is nice since I don't really like wearing colored gloss/lipstick. I love how this looks on my lips and it also smells good too! I think I will wear this pretty much anywhere since it is a nude color.

The next item I received is Kiss Nail Dress which is normally $6.99. I already put them on and they are very easy to apply. I kept trying to find the design name that I received but can't seem to find it. It's a black base with a gold design on it. This company has some pretty cool designs that you can purchase. I'm curious to how long they are going to stay on though, with work and doing household activities I think they will probably fall off before the week is over.
The next item I got was EBOOST energy powder. The flavor I got it in was Pink Lemonade. I'm going to give this a try even though I'm not big into energy products. I don't ever really drink energy drinks. It is also in a flavor that I tend to like so hopefully I will like it! The other flavors that it comes in is Orange, Acai Pomegranate, and Super Berry.
The next thing I got which is the product I have been the most interested in trying is the Goody QuikStyle Brush which costs normally $11.99. I haven't tried it yet but I am really curious to see how it works. I have long hair so if this helps my drying time I will probably love it! It says it removes up to 30% of water from your hair. I will probably give a more updated review on this product after I test it.
The next thing I got in my voxbox was a card/coupon for Sole Society (www.solesociety.com) which is a company that sells shoes. The coupon is for $25 off your first pair of shoes and I can even give the code out to you all! It's Influenster25 if your interested in getting yourself a pair, but hurry you only have until January 31, 2013 to claim this. I am not sure if I will purchase any shoes or not it will all depend on how expensive they are and if they have any cute shoes.
So this next product is a bonus product that not everyone got, but I was lucky enough to get it. It's the Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask which is normally under $2.00. I have tried this product before a couple years ago and I hope I have a better experience with it. With most facials that I have tried it leaves my face hot and red for a couple hours because I think I have sensitive skin on my face. The type that I got is Aloe Vera and Willow. I will give this product a try probably on my day off in case my face decides to turn all red again.

Overall I am very pleased with what I got in my voxbox from Influenster! If you haven't checked Influenster out you must check it out!
