Finally reviewing my July Ipsy bag, I know I know I'm super behind and I didn't even review my June bag. This months Ipsy theme is "Sensationally Sunkissed". I wasn't too thrilled with the products I received this month so hopefully next months is better. I'm still waiting for an Ipsy bag with a nail polish included in it since I did mention that in my Ipsy survey.
My first product that I got in this months bag was a two toned Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 2.0. The colors are Muse (the light one) and Passion (the darker one). The duo together is called The Inspiration. I have heard of the Bare Minerals brand so I was pretty excited to try this product. The one color is a bit darker then what I normally try but it may be nice for a crease.
To purchase this product off of Ulta.com the price would be $20.00. You can purchase this product here.
The next product I received was a sun kissed bronzer by POP Beauty. I have never heard of this company before but the packaging is super cute. I also have never tried a bronzer so I'm excited to try it out. The color does look a bit dark for my face. The shade I got was Secret Sunshine. According to Pop Beautys' website this product contains Vitamin E.
To purchase this product it would cost $10.00
You can purchase this product here.
Next is a product from Pixi, which I received a product from them in a previous Ipsy bag. This is called the Tinted Brilliance Balm in the shade Unique Pink. It's not really a pink color, it shows up nude. I like to wear this to moisten my lips since it doesn't give my lips any color. It's the perfect size to carry in my purse to have when I need it.
Other Ipsy subscribers may have received the Pretty In Pink Shade. They have multiple different shades on their website. For the full sized product it would cost $14.00. You can purchase this product here.
This product is a sunscreen of SPF 30 by the brand Pulisse. It is also a daily moisturizer. I haven't tried this product because I have been indoors all day working so I haven't been able to try it. The packaging is cute and the smell isn't terrible either. I'm not a huge fan of sunscreen though because of the oily texture that it leaves behind. This product has vitamin E and white tea that calms sensitive skin.
This product size is .5 oz and for the full size is 1.7 oz. to purchase that full size product would be $55.00! This stuff must work wonders for that price. To purchase this product click here.
Last product is from Derma E and it's a BB Creme with SPF 25 in the shade Light Tint. This shade doesn't seem light to me, not sure it's going to match my skin tone. I haven't tried this product yet.
To purchase the full size product it would cost you $29.50. Purchase this product here.
Overall I think I got a pretty good Ipsy bag considering the prices for the products. Most of them were travel size but I also did get some full sized products. The bag this month is pretty boring for design wise but I like the texture of it.

Ipsy Glam Bag {{May 2014}}
This months glam bag wasn't really my favorite bag this month. The bag that it came in was cool and felt really "green". The products I wasn't much of a fan but am willing to give them a try. With such a busy work load this month I haven't really been able to try the products yet but I figured I would get a post up about what I got. This months bag was called Beauty's Fresh Picks.
First product is the Eva-nye Therapy Session Hair Mask. Like I mentioned earlier I haven't tried any of these products yet but I'm sorta interested in giving this a try. I'm hoping it helps my hair out and makes it a bit healthier. This product states that it will strengthen my hair and hydrate it. To purchase this product it would cost you $12.00. I also got a bit distracted on their website by an awesome hair straightener that I must have, they have some really awesome products on their site. I can't wait to give this product a try and see how it makes my hair feel.
This next product was one that I was really excited for because I've always wanted to get one of these. I just have never purchased one for myself so I'm really glad I got this. It's the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. Mine came in the shade Elusive Insaisissable (205) and you can purchase this for $8.99 is what I'm finding on Google since their website wasn't working for me.
This is an eye shadow duo from Pacifica, a brand I've never heard of until now. I got a brown shade called Duo 1 (Celestial and Opal). These shades are definitely my color and one I will probably use since it's a neutral color. I couldn't find a price or product like this on their website so I'm guessing this was a special for Ipsy and you can purchase these eye shadows in a set with others. So I'm not sure what the value is of this.
This next product is a sunscreen from Jersey Shore Sun Sans Tan and it's SPF is 35. This product also claims that it is anti-aging with organic ingredients. You can purchase this product for $25.00 so it's a bit on the expensive side. I'm hoping this product isn't greasy like most sun screen is but I will try this out and hopefully it works.
So this next product I got was Barefoot Exfoliating polish by Bare Foot Spa Professional. I got two packets of this polish. To purchase the full size product it is $5.99. Not much to say about this product because I haven't tried it.
This most defiantly wasn't my favorite Ipsy bag but I can't wait until Junes bag to see what they have in store for us. It seems like I got this month's Ipsy bag earlier then I did last month. Make sure to leave me a comment letting me know what you got in your Ipsy bag this month.

Buy and Try {{May}}
Today I'm going to post something a little different on my blog. Within this post I'm going to show you products that I purchased throughout the month to try and how I liked them. I may not post these types of posts each month but whenever I have products that I have purchased I will do one.
The first product that I purchased was at Walmart on sale for $3.97 each but I had a $2 off coupon. This is the Loreal Advanced Haircare in Total Repair. I purchased this product to see if it would actually help my hair. I have tried it once so far since I only bought it the other day. The scent smells good and it does leave my hair feeling pretty smooth but not oily or anything.
As for hair results I haven't seen any yet because it's too early to tell. I'm not expecting it to seal up my current split ends but I hope it makes my hair stronger and not break.
Next I purchased a nail polish top coat from Sally Hansen. This is the Big Glitter Top Coat. I loved the sparkles that are in this nail polish. It will go with pretty much any color of nail polish that you have on. It was a bit of the expensive side for $5.47 but I thought I would give it a try. I love how this looks on my nails but it's a bit difficult to get the glitter to spread on the whole nail.
I put my top coat over a mango looking color and thought it turned out great. I decided to not worry about where the glitter ended up and just left it how it was applied. I have had it on for a couple of days and it hasn't chipped off or caused my other polish to chip. This is the longest I've been able to keep nail polish on my nails so I'm hoping this does the trick. The color of this is called Meteor Light (130).
This next product isn't beauty/makeup related but it's part of my buy and try so I figured I would include it. I purchased some Gatorade in some different flavors that I have never heard of or tried before. The first one I purchased was the green one which is in the flavor Tropical Cooler and I purchased it at Safeway for $.88. I haven't been able to find the Tropical Cooler flavor anywhere else besides Safeway yet.
The next flavor is Tropical Mango and I love this one! I was able to find them at one gas station and at Walmart for $1.00. The next one that I haven't tried yet is the Citrus Cooler. I'm excited to try that one because it sounds good. I'm really loving all these tropical flavors so far.

Ipsy Glam Bag {{April 2014}}
It's that time of month again to receive my Ipsy Glam bag. This month the theme of this bag was
Beauty Rocks. This bag is pretty cute and I really enjoyed the products in this months bag! The bag was a dark purple shade with a record player on it. I really liked the size of this bag this month.

Now onto the products!
The first product that I got was this beautiful white gold eye shadow by City Color. I love this product because the color looks great with my eyes. I love the application product of this stuff. It gave my eye makeup more of a glitter gold look which I loved.
To buy this product it would cost you $3.99 which isn't a bad price at all. I am definitely going to purchase this product when I run out. It's in a nice small container too so it doesn't take up much room in my makeup collection. This is probably my favorite product out of my Ipsy bag this month.

The next product is from Urban Decay and it's the 24/7 Velvet Glide On eyeliner. I was really excited to try this product when I got a sneak peak of what was in my bag. Once I tried it thought I was just a bit disappointed with the application of it. It was hard to get it to show up and it didn't show up as dark as I wanted. I've heard nothing but good from the company Urban Decay but I probably wouldn't purchase this eyeliner.
The cost of this eyeliner for the full size is $20.00. It did last most of the day and removing it was really easy with my makeup remover wipes. It didn't run like most eye liner so I was impressed with that but it's not first choice of eyeliners that I own.
Next is a tint from Benefit called the Lollitint. I haven't actually tried this product yet so I can't really leave my review on it quite yet. What I didn't know until after I looked at the packaging is that it is both a lip tint and a cheek tint. I'm not a big lip product person because I feel like it doesn't do much for me but I think that is where I would wear this product. It would be a bit too pink on my cheeks I think.
The cost of this product for a full size is $30.00 so it's quite up there in price. The shade of this is Orchard Blossom so definitely a spring time color.
The next product is another lip product but this one looked interesting to me. It's a little out of my comfort zone but I'm excited to try this stuff out. It's Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in the shade Acid Pink. I think the packaging is pretty cute and you can't even tell that the top part of it is a brush to apply it. I had never heard of this brand before.
Loved the color of this lip balm and haven't really applied it to my lips quite yet. The price for this is $19.00. Other Ipsy subscribers got a peach colored one. I can't wait to try some makeup looks with this product.
The last product that I got in this months Ipsy bag is KISS Looks So Natural Lashes. I don't quite know how I feel about this product yet. I'm glad I got it for the variety of things in my bag but it's not quite me. I have long lashes as it is so I'm not quite sure how they would look on me. I got the style of shy lashes. I think these may look fake on me but I may use these when I do my photography with someone.
The cost of this product is $3.99 so it's not that expensive for these. They are cute but just not me.
Overall I am very pleased with this months Ipsy bag and I'm already excited for the next one. I love getting the sneak peaks on Instagram to see what I may be getting.

Ipsy Glam Bag {{March 2014}}
Back in February I decided to sign up for a subscription service and I decided to go with Ipsy since their products seemed to fit me. Every month you get 4 to 5 products in these cute makeup bags for a great price of only $10. My first bag was March and I was super excited to receive it. The bag this
month was designed by an artist in San Francisco and the theme of this bag was Destination Beauty. I am pretty excited to see what I get next month also.
Next up is a liquid eyeliner from Chella. It is in the shade Indigo Blue. Something I like about Ipsy is that it's giving me products that I wouldn't go purchase for myself at the store because I wouldn't ever step out of my comfort zone to buy blue eyeliner.
I figured every month when I receive my glam bag I would post what was inside and how I liked the products. Also if you want to sign up for yourself use this code and you can either save some money or earn some points: http://www.ipsy.com/r/790b
Did I mention that not everyone gets the same bag?
So the first product that I pulled out of my glam bag was this primer from Pixi. There was a bit of shimmer to my face after I applied it but it wasn't terrible. According to PixiBeauty.com this is a new product and it sells for $9.00.
The next product is a NYX product. It is the Love in Rio palette. Mine came in the shade called The Brazilian which is three brownish colors. I've always heard really good things about NYX but was a little disappointed at how its not very pigmented this palette was and it took quite a bit of adding more to get it to show up.
This product sells for $6.00 and comes in a variety of shades. I love the color combos that they have and these colors work perfect with my skin tone.
I'm going to rate this product a 6/10 because I think it should be more pigmented. I think I will put this in my purse and carry it with me for times when I need to touch up.
Next up is a liquid eyeliner from Chella. It is in the shade Indigo Blue. Something I like about Ipsy is that it's giving me products that I wouldn't go purchase for myself at the store because I wouldn't ever step out of my comfort zone to buy blue eyeliner.
First off I love the tip on this eyeliner, makes it so much easier to apply. The only thing is that it sorta ran a bit as you can see in the second photo. I haven't worn this product out and about but I have tried it. The blue actually doesn't really stand out bold like I thought it would.
This eyeliner costs $24.00 on the Chella website, thats double the cost of my glam bag!
Lastly was a travel size lipstick from bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in the shade Get Ready. I'm not a big lipstick person but I actually wore this and wore it out and about. It gave my lips just a little bit of color but nothing too intense. It also stayed on for quite awhile which impressed me.
The cost for this lipstick in full size is $18.00
That is all for the March bag and I can't wait to see what comes in my April bag! I loved all the products that I got, I sort of wish I would have gotten the OPI nail polish that some people received.

Olay Fresh Effects Everything Off
Yesterday when I went to the store I decided to look for a different makeup remover. I saw someone on Youtube that purchased these wipes and I decided to give them a try myself.
The scent is honeysuckle and white tea which isn't a strong smell. I have gotten some makeup remover wipes that I can't stand the smell of. Also I am going to mention that I have a really sensitive face, like no matter what I put on my face it turns it really red. These wipes didn't make my face turn red at all but made my skin burn just a little bit.
As I was washing the makeup off my face I accidentally got it into my eye. I sorta had a freak out moment thinking it was really going to burn but the burn never came. It removed my makeup so easily while most cleaners I sort of have to scrub with.
I will definitely be repurchasing this product when I run out. The packaging is also cute and really easy to reseal so that the wipes don't dry out.
Rate: 10/10

Rimmel London
Recently I received a product from Influenster called the Rimmel London Stay Matte foundation to test. I created a blog post about it so make sure to check it out. Anyway through Influenster they have brand challenges to complete and you get a chance to win some more prizes. I ended up winning a prize and I just got my stuff about a week ago. Here's what I got!
First off I got this Stay Matte Primer to use alone, under, or over makeup. I haven't tried this out yet but I can't wait to try it. I've never used a primer before so that will be fun to try. The container looks like what the foundation came in just a little bit thicker.
Then I got some lipstick. I'm not a big lipstick wearing person but I figured I would give it a try. It's in the shade Nude Delight (642). Not sure how the nude color will look on my lips but I do love the purple packaging.
Next up is an eye shadow palette, called Glam Eyes HD in the shade Brick Lane (027). Love these colors because they are a neutral color and more geared toward what I wear. Not sure how it will look with my brown eyes though but I can't wait to try it out when I get more time. It also gives you a little tutorial on the back on how to place the colors to create a cute look.
Here is the Rimmel London Stay Blushed liquid check tint. This is in the color Apricot Glow (005). Not sure if this is going to go well since I've never used a blush but I will try it out. When I squeeze it out a little it doesn't look as dark as I imagined it would be.
Rate: N/A havent tested yet.
This Scandle Eyes Retro Glam mascara is my favorite by far. Love how it applies to my lashes and how it makes them look. It gives me more of a natural look on my lashes. It is in the shade black which is what I normally wear. I wear this everyday to work. It does give my lashes some volume and it doesn't smudge or run off during the day.
Rate: 9/10
Next up is the Scandale eyes waterproof eye liner in black and I also got an eye shadow stick but my camera happened to delete the picture. The eye shadow stick is in the shade Bulletproof beige (002) and it's this really cute neutral goldish color. I love the eyeliner a lot and have replaced it as my everyday wear. It doesn't run and still has my eyes looking good at the end of the day. My old eye liner ran and made it look like I had black eyes.
Rate: 10/10
Thank you to Influenster and Rimmel London for letting me test these products and providing these products to me to try.
